A Permanent Place in the Global Giving Family

Alliance Institute would like to thank everyone who helped us achieve our initial fundraising goal of $4,000 from at least 50 different individuals during our December Open Challenge Fundraiser with Global Giving.  As a result we have been brought into the Global Giving family, giving us access to corporate donors as well as their extensive donor base.  Global Giving will also provide us with ongoing training in the areas of small and major donor campaigns.

The Bounce Nation project is still working towards its total goal of $11,000 to train 20 New Orleans youth to become community leaders.  Currently we have received $4,172 from 72 donors.  Thanks again for everyone’s support!  And for those that have not yet had a chance to donate, visit our Global Giving Donation Page and make a tax-deductible donation today.

Alliance Institute Earns Spot in Global Giving Foundation's December "Open Challenge"

Because of our good work, Alliance Institute has been selected to participate in the GlobalGiving Foundation's Open Challenge, a fundraising opportunity for nonprofit organizations working around the world.

Alliance Institute's Bounce Nation youth leadership project will be our featured project, and as part of the Open Challenge provides a really special opportunity to make a huge and lasting impact on youth organizing in New Orleans.

In order to succeed in GlobalGiving's Open Challenge, Alliance Institute must raise at least $4,000 from 50 donors by December 22nd.  If we meet this threshold, we will be given a permanent spot on GlobalGiving's website, where we have the potential to benefit from corporate relationships, exposure to a new donor network, and access to dozens of online fundraising tools.

Please help us reach the threshold of at least $4,000 from 50 donors!  Not only will your donation help us develop new youth leaders, but it will help us take advantage of a critical long-term fundraising opportunity.
